What I do with your data.

Last updated 18 September 2026.

Short version: I collect the details you send me so I can reply to you. I do not sell anything to anyone, and I do not track you around the internet.

Who is responsible

Sunside (Hugo Oblak), an enskild firma registered in Sweden, is the data controller for this website. You can reach me at hugo@sunside.io.

What I collect

  • If you email me or fill in the form: your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message.
  • If you book a call: your name, email address and the time you picked, handled by my booking provider.
  • If you just read the site: anonymous, aggregated page counts. No cookies, no fingerprinting, nothing that identifies you personally.

Why I am allowed to have it

Because you asked me to do something. Under the GDPR that is either your consent or my legitimate interest in answering a business enquiry. If you booked a call or asked for a quote, it is also the steps leading up to a contract.

Who else sees it

Only the services I need to run the business, and only the part they need. Today that means my email provider, my booking provider, the website host, and the automation tool that tells me a message arrived. I do not share your details with anyone else, and I never sell them.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into work: up to two years, then deleted. If we do work together, I keep what Swedish bookkeeping law requires, and no more.

What you can ask for

  • A copy of everything I hold about you.
  • Corrections, if something is wrong.
  • Deletion. I will do it unless the law says I have to keep a record.
  • That I stop using your details for a particular purpose.

Email hugo@sunside.io and I will handle it within a month. If you think I have got it wrong, you can complain to Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), the Swedish data protection authority.
